THE YOUTH AGAINST AIDS CLUB

YAA IS a club that encourages sisterhood so much that it is not referred to as a club ,but a FAMILY. It mainly focuses on the youth, what they have been through , what the future holds and how to tackle the situations that life throughs as them as they grow older , and not  merely just the awareness of HIV/Aids. Leading by the moto ‘TOGETHER WE CAN”

INTERACT CLUB

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills. Leading by the motto SERVICE ABOVE SELF.

THE TOASTMATSERS ASSOCIATION

The Toastmasters Association takes pride in grooming its members into satisfactory ladies of class. At St Dominic’s this is where the ladies are made. And these ladies take it upon themselves to also inspire students that are not necessarily a part of the association to be ladies. 

GAVEL

These ladies are the ambassadors of beauty and elegance. The club teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs

SANTA ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATES

The importance of taking care and improving the environment is always preached .This group of ladies ensures that everyone knows that we are the stewards of our Earth. Santa environmental advocates are there to help establish an understanding of environmental education

CHRISTIAN LIFE COMMUNITY

The club is divided into the senior and junior CLC club but both are on one mission. 

DOMINICAN YOUTH MOVEMENT

Young and happy in Christ. Their motto is “To Bless, To Preach, To Praise.” They proudly Dominican as they follow their pillars which are: Study, Prayer, Human Development and Community Service

Rangers Club

Devoted to making a difference as they touch every soul they come across ,the rangers are a group of passionate and hardworking ladies striving to make a global impact

Marimba

Music is a powerful tool that can enhance social relationships. It can help to build bonds between people and create a sense of community. Music brings people together. For example, playing marimba together can help to build harmony and unity

Webmasters Association

The computer geeks and the tech nerds as some would call them but their undying zeal resonates in the various projects they take part in the school and not by anything else

The Debate club

The powerful gift of speech at is evoked in this club as ladies use their voices to make a difference

The Quiz Club

This is the ultimate test of how much knowledge you have, stretching throughout the whole school , the quiz club is a vibrant club for any scholar who has what it takes

The Chess club

“Every chess master was once a beginner ” is the main message you get from this interesting sport of chess where skills are sharpened to the core

The First Aid Club

When you understand first aid, you’ll gain the ability to help those in need. Through our first aid certification classes you’ll learn how to respond to specific situations, which will help you care for people in crisis as they wait for medical professionals to arrive. This gives them the best opportunity for a positive outcome – and gives you the opportunity to change someone’s life for the better.

DRAMA CLUB

As the drama club, these ladies meet as different people with one passion that pushes them to create master piece’s with their God-given talents. They create a form of art that encompasses more than just physical illustrations. A creation that combines the mind, body and soul in the unified display. It not the mere creation of an entertainment spectacle, it is the creation of a relationship between actresses and thr crowd. Using emotion to captivate and make every theatrical moment, magical and unforgettable.

Chipawo

CHIPAWO is an arts education for development and employment organisation, based in Harare, that works with children and young people in different parts of Zimbabwe. Children  learn to sing, dance, play music, act, make videos and television programmes and work together, communicate, gain confidence, build through criticism and so much more – in short, arts education for development and employment. Through the arts, CHIPAWO is able to address the key issues that concern the welfare and development of children.
